Since 2005, Act First Safety has provided the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario Regions with exceptional Workplace Occupational Health and Safety training.

Background
Workplace Occupational Health and Safety Training is a second career beginning in 2003 following a successful sales and marketing career based in advertising, publishing, research and new business development. Built entrepreneurial work environments honed skills and experience in aggressive goal setting and growth strategies, managerial, organizational and team building skills. The dynamic world of occupational health and safety is embraced wholeheartedly as an opportunity for life-long learning.
Act First Safety partnered with the leading global provider of workplace violence prevention training, the Crisis Prevention Institute, as the Ontario legislature considered defining workplace violence as an occupational hazard. This partnership made Act First Safety the exclusive independent facilitator of the program in Canada. Partnerships with established businesses help us grow, and we continue to develop leading-edge programs. In 2009, we added Online Training programs to our inventory alongside the launch of our newly enhanced website. Our future plans involve introducing an expanding offering of both online and instructor-led safety training programs.
Our Staff
Ms. McFarlane founded Act First Safety after 3 years experience consulting with a leading lift truck training company. Gifted speaker & facilitator, Lauren designs innovative training to simplify Occupational Health and Safety for employers. She always keep client’s needs in mind to provide best personalized service.
