Two are dead in scaffolding accident
Two workers have died after a scaffolding accident in Toronto’s West end.
The incident happened late Friday morning at a construction site at Bloor and Keele.
The two men were working on the scaffold when it collapsed, dropping the men 6 stories a witness has said. One man was dead at the scene and the other was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Reports from the scene state that the collapse occurred after a hydraulic scaffold malfunctioned.
